Sage Hair and Beauty Lounge opened in February 2009, born of an idea to build a unique hair salon that feels like home.
Fast forward over 12 years, Sage Hairdressing became Sage Hair and Beauty Lounge. Our humble team of 3 has grown to a team of over 10. The result is a winning combination of friendly, relaxed ritual based service, great refreshments and fabulous hair.
The salon itself is a glamorous 1920’s Art Deco space with an eclectic mix of interiors, weaving from Arnhem Land The Injalak Art Centre, to Catherine Martin Wallpaper from The Great Gatsby, that comes together to create a very unique space.

Extensions
At SAGE, we use tape extensions because we believe they look the most NATURAL and are the least damaging to your hair. They come in Two different lengths 35cm and 50cm. All new extension services require a consultation 5 days before, so we can match your hair colour & provide an accurate quote. You will need to have the extensions moved up every 4-6 weeks as your hair grows, the hair itself should last a 3 – 6 months if taken care of properly. You must use citrus, oil and protein free shampoos and conditioners, as these can weaken the bond to your natural hair.
